What do we do?
We meet three times on Sundays at 8.30am, 10am and 5pm (winter) or 6pm (summer) and at 10.30am on a Thursday.
This is a quiet service of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer (Common Worship, Order 2). It normally attracts between 20-30 people and lasts about 30-40 minutes. It is ideal for those who need to make an early start on Sundays.
On the first Sunday of every month, we gather for breakfast in the Jordan Room after the 8.30am service.
This is a warm, vibrant service, with good music led by the Choir. The service attracts about 120 people, including a significant number of young families. It lasts about 75 minutes, with activities for children in our Junior Church groups – Sunbeams (<Reception), Trailblazers (<Year 6) andCushion Club (Year 7 <), who join us for Communion.
Sunday 5pm (winter) 6pm (summer)
Most Sundays,it is a traditional Evensong based on the Book of Common Prayer., attracting 30-40 people. The First Sunday of the month is Holy Communion. On occasions, we use meditative or modern liturgies.
A popular mid-week Communion service attracting c.20-25 people, followed by coffee in the Jordan Room.
We hold a weekly Coffee Shop on Thursdays at 11am, various social events, house groups and reading groups. We also have a thriving ‘all-age’ choir.
